Health & Weight Loss

I have lost over 30kg in 3 years and ran my
first marathon at 42, thanks to the knowledge and support of Tracey and her
husband Jon.
My initial goal was
just to get fitter as I could not keep up with my niece and nephew who had
come to stay with me. I joined a gym and increased my activity levels. At
first things went well and I was getting fitter and losing weight. Then my
weight loss seemed to stop. I believe I was eating the “right” foods but
could not get off the plateau! Tracey recommended a number of books to read
and provide information on supplements etc. We then modify my eating plan to
suit my requirements at that time. Again I lost weight. I then decided I
wanted to run a marathon, I still had to lose more weight but found I was
lacking in energy with the current eating plan and the training plan that
Jon had devised. Tracey recommended a number of small adjustments,
continued to provide support and much needed massages!
I reached my goal weight in 2004 and ran my first Marathon in 2005! I have
never felt better and have had numerous people commented on how much younger
I look.
Now not everyone wants to run a marathon and may not need to lose as much
weight but even if you just want to do some toning I can highly recommend
Tracey. Her knowledge, support and friendship have enabled me to be a
fitter, leaner and younger looking person.

Just a short note to thank you for
introducing me to the benefits of a low carbohydrate eating regime. I
haven't felt this good in ages, and am really thrilled with my 7 kg weight
loss in the last 10 weeks. I've not felt deprived, haven't had hunger pangs
and even those horrible 3pm slumps have totally disappeared. I have so much
energy these days my colleagues don't recognise me, the dark rings are gone
from under my eyes and my skin has a real glow to it. So much so that people
ask me what I use ! I love my new daily routine with 30 minutes exercise
bike and stretches in the morning so much, that I get quite antsy if I miss
a session. I'm even noticing that when I have the odd "break out" my body
can easily handle it and I don't really notice it. Life is great, thanks a
million for your sage advice in the early days and the tips on the
supplements, I'll definitely continue those. I know everyone is different,
but after feeling unhappy about my weight, fitness and health for the last
15 years I have finally found an eating regime that I can stay with for the
rest of my life.
Thanks a million and a big electronic hug from me to you !!!!
Three Cheers for Low Carb eating,

At aged 10, I
weighed in at a hefty 11.5kg and had developed a compulsive eating disorder.
With the help of some mood stabilising medicine and a restricted eating
plan, I shed 3kg in 6 months to get to my goal weight of 8.5kg. That may
still seem heavy for a cat but that is my normal weight - I am one big cat!
